Book talks and suggestions.
Choose your book.
Read the poem, "I am Running Into a New Year" by Lucile Clifton. What are some things about yourself that you need to let go of from the previous year? What are some messages or words of wisdom that you need to hear to succeed in the new year? Write this on a sticky note and throw this in the trash. Use Play Doh to create a vision of hope for yourself in the future.
At-Home:
Get some good rest, and be ready to dive further into book clubs.
