What Is This Program About?

MATHpath is a four week enrichment summer program designed to help students gain confidence,

advance, and not regress in their math skills through an engaging problem solving focus. The

program will include unusual and traditional topics for study, recreational and/or craft activities,

hands-on experience and community building SEL activities with a field trip to conclude the program.

Expectations for Participation:

Students are expected to attend every day and participate actively in the program. Parents are

expected to support their child’s daily attendance and engagement by showing interest in their child’s daily

activities, by asking questions of the staff, and by participating in parent activities, and to attend the closing

program. To help students to understand the importance of success in math and the pivotal role that this

success plays in shaping choices in high school and after.
