Parents Mission Statement

Lexington METCO Parents Group

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Lexington METCO Parents Group is to achieve 100% committed parental involvement. To work toward the continued success of the METCO Program and to maintain accountability of all stakeholders for the academic achievement of our children. In addition, our mission is to promote respectful and caring relationships with each other while embracing multicultural partnerships with students, families and the Lexington Public School staff.

Lexington METCO Parents meet together on a monthly basis as a K-12 parent group. Meetings are usually held on the first Monday of each month school is in session.

We ask that parents sign on promptly so that meetings can start on time and end on time. Your participation in these meetings and seminars are vital to the growth and stability of the Lexington METCO program. Upon acceptance into the Lexington METCO Program you are committed to attending the meetings of which two should be a seminar of your choosing. Please make every effort to fulfill your commitment.
