Get to Know Mrs. McDonald

Where I'm From: I grew up in Gaston, South Carolina. I attended Wood Elementary, Pine Ridge Middle, and Airport High. Lexington School District 2 is home!

Family: My husband and I celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary this past December. We have a Labradoodle and a Goldendoodle; they keep us well entertained and busy!

Interests: I love to binge-watch television shows, snuggle with my dogs, take naps, and read great novels! If you can't tell, I happen to be an introvert!

Education: I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Middle Level Education with concentrations in mathematics and English from USC Aiken and my Master of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University.

Experience: I taught middle school ELA for 2.5 years before beginning my Master's degree in School Counseling. This is my first official year as a Professional School Counselor and as a Falcon!

...depending on which small groups are being offered.
