It's been an exciting time in Reception as our Robins have been enjoying the wonders of winter and diving into the world of real-life superheroes. We have had the opportunity to explore ice in various ways. We filled a tough tray with water and a few insects in order to see if it would freeze overnight, which it did, and then spent the morning trying to figure out how to get the insects out of the ice. In our recent theme, the children have been learning about real-life superheroes. We've delved into the world of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, discovering how these everyday heroes make a difference in our lives. The highlight has been the Doctors' Room role play, where the children have had the chance to step into the shoes of healthcare providers.
