In English, the children have been working very hard writing adverts for a bicycle, in the style of Mrs Armitage on Wheels.  In maths we have looked at Mass, whether something is heavy or light and the standard units we use to measure. In science we are looking at habitats - thank you for bringing in all of the different materials to make a habitat. In P.E we have been practising our athletic skills. We are busily preparing for fruit kebabs in D & T , practising our safe chopping styles , and will complete those later in the week. In R.E we are consolidating our knowledge of the Jewish new year and looking forward by writing goals for the next academic year.

Maths -   Looking at position and rotation. using language such as above and  below,  left and right, in front of and behind.

English - Learning alphabetical order and how to form capital letters correctly.

Geography -   We will be looking at Shanghai in more detail. We will identify  human and physical features  found there.

D & T -  We will be making fruit kebabs, learning to use a knife correctly to cut the fruit.

Science - Looking at if birds are herbivores. carnivores or herbivores.
