Year 3 have had an extremely busy two weeks. We completed our class assembly: the children were fantastic at remembering their words, the song and when they needed to speak, stand etc. Well done Lions. They have also been writing persuasive leaflets during our writing lessons using Canva to present them. In maths, the children have continued to look at time. Learning to tell the time to the nearest minute past and too, as well as using the 24 hour clock. In science, the children have enjoyed exploring shadows and the lengths of shadows based on the posisiton of the sun. The children also designed and made seasonal pies during design technology, which were a great hit. 

Next term we will begin our new text "A Midsummer Night's Dream  and in maths we will finish our work on time, before moving onto collecting and representing data. In our history lessons, we will begin to explore The Romans and in science we will start our new topic which explores plants.
