This week we have been busy completing phonics assessments; the children have worked really hard trying to remember the sounds, sound out words and blend them. The children have also been finishing their designer badge in digital skills where they have used the designing tools to draw minibeasts, we even practiced using the keyboard for the first time and had a go at typing out the name of the minibeast we drew.  We have also loved finishing off our bookmarks in DT and evaluating them! Thank you to everyone who came in to look at what we have been doing in art this term!

We have loved learning all about Easter! We have really enjoyed completing different Easter themed activities and loved our Easter Bonnet Parade!

Our new topic will be 'How Do Things Grow?'

Maths -  We will be continuing our learning on odd and even numbers.

English/Phonics -  We will be writing butterfly facts. 

Science- We will have new arrivals in our classroom, we are excited to watch them grow. 

Expressive art and design-  We will be looking at taking pictures of items and then having a go at painting them.
