This week's learning...

Over the last week in maths Year 2 have been working on subtraction of 2 digit numbers to 2 digit numbers with and without renaming. In English, we have been writing apology letters from Duncan to the crayons based on our Power of Reading Text ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’. We role-played the different crayons from the story and thought about reasons why Duncan was sorry. In Science, we carried out an experiment to find out the strengths of different materials. In Art, we went on a nature walk around the school and collected different leaves and twigs. We then completed continuous line drawings of the things we saw using wax crayons and paint.
