RECEPTION

Polar Bears class have embarked on their exciting journey into reception this week. With wide, curious eyes, they explored their new classroom, filled with lots of resources, a sea-themed book corner, and a whole world of learning waiting to be discovered. Their first week has been a whirlwind of new experiences. They've learnt how to line up, share their toys, the routine of lunchtime and how to make a circle for circle time.  Polar Bears explored the outdoor area, painted pictures, role played and climbed on the climbing frames. They have made friends and we are excited for their first full week as a whole class to begin on Monday!

We will continue to settle into school and explore during our independent learning time.

Our story of the week will be: Monkey Puzzle by Julia Donaldson.
