We have begun our first week in English with Meerkat Mail by Emily Gravett, this will lead us  into writing a diary entry next week.  In Maths we are linking our knowledge of number bonds to add two  2-digit numbers to ten and beyond.  Our History topic started well with the children talking about their favourite toy and looking at toys from the past. in Art we are printing with our hands and feet, watch out for painty toes !  In science we are beginning to look at weather and seasonal changes.  

Maths -  Subtraction  and addition facts .

English -  Writing a diary entry from the point of view of the  Sunny the Meerkat .

Science -  Learning about the four seasons and the events that fall with each one.

History -  Looking into toys from different eras. 

Art -  Rubbings to make  pictures.
