This week the children have loved reading 'Oliver's Vegetables'.
The children started off the week with a very busy Monday! The children had assembly then we walked to Asda to get our vegetables to make some vegetable soup. The children walked beautifully to Asda, the children were very well behaved and safe in an extremely busy shop! When we got back to school we had to prepare our vegetables by peeling and cutting them. We cooked the soup in the afternoon and all of the children tried some!
The children have had phonics assessments this week where they all worked hard to show what they have learnt. We have been recapping on odd and even numbers. The children have enjoyed finishing their art projects where they have coloured the backgrounds of their final pieces. The children loved outdoor learning day on Thursday where they loved spending the whole day outside. We had different water activities out and chalk! Our outside area is very colourful now! The children also enjoyed spending some time in Forest School where some of them tried learning a new skill- whittling. The children loved ending the day with some watermelon and strawberries!
Elmer Day!
