In English we are reading Toby and the Great Fire of London, which took us back in time to 1666, when the great fire started. In maths we have been challenging ourselves to add numbers to 40 using tens and units apparatus. In Geography we have been hunting for seasonal nature items and made a nature collection from around the school grounds. We are enjoying our Gymnastics unit in P.E and had additional lessons this week with a gymnastics specialist. Thank you for the boxes for D & T. Please keep bringing them next week.

Maths -  We will finish our topic looking at numbers to 40; focusing on finding more or less than a given number and making number patterns. 

English -  We will be becoming newspaper reporters and will record and then write our own newspaper report, retelling the events of the Great Fire of London.

Science - We will continue to look at materials and the properties of everyday materials.

Geography-We will be learning the different points on a compass. 

D&T -  We will be making and decorating our own vehicles out of a cereal box with a wheel and axle.
