This week we have enjoyed reading 'The Three Little Pigs' so much that we have been amazing at recalling what happens in the story. The children have been busy making pigs out of playdough, trying to build houses out of spaghetti and marshmallows and using their phonics knowledge to write a sentence about their favourite house using adjectives.
The children have been working hard in DT this week and have been practising the skill of weaving using paper; this is all to build up our knowledge in order to finish our DT project at the end of the half term! The children have continued enjoying role play in the farm shop and we have made a farm display where we tried really hard to draw and colour in pictures of farm animals, make our own clouds and flowers!
Polar Bears have been very lucky to have been given frogspawn this week so we have started to learn about the life cycle of a frog. The children have been super helpful with finding rocks and cleaning them to support Miss Bignell and Mrs Snelling with making a suitable habitat for the frogspawn. We are so excited to watch them grow into frogs!
