What a great first week back Year 6 have had.

On Thursday, year 6 took part in an enterprise afternoon. They had to negotiate cost, work out profit and loss and communicate with costumers. They worked brilliantly as a team and raised over £400 which is an incredible amount of money. The money that they have raised will go towards their leavers celebrations.

Maths this week involved the planning of their own Luna Theme park. The children have to design the first theme park ever built on the moon and are given a limited budget for rides and attractions. The salaries of maintenance workers, entertainers and security are also budgeted into their costing.

During DT, the children have begun designing their phone cases. They were able to create and design a phone case made from felt and generate a range of design ideas and communicate their final design ideas.

Rehearsals are well underway for the end of year productions. They have been working extremely hard and cannot wait to show all the parents and carers.
