Year 5 students have been engrossed in a world of numbers, solving short and long multiplication problems with newfound confidence. They have also embarked on a literary adventure, crafting the next chapter of Kensuke's Kingdom, weaving suspense and excitement into their stories. In the realm of science, they have delved into the mysteries of geocentric and heliocentric systems, exploring the historical context and scientific evidence that supports each model. Their geographical explorations have led them to looking at Ordnance Survey maps, mastering the art of identifying features and navigating their local surroundings. This mapping expertise has linked with their reading lessons, enriching their understanding and the history of Ordnance Survey maps.
