Year 3 had an informative anti-bullying week. We enjoyed watching an anti-bullying workshop where we learned the importance of speaking up if we witness bullying. We also watched a BBC live lesson to help us understand the different forms of bullying. In Maths, we explored the relationship between multiplication and division, and in English, we delved into the world of Kenning poems and their unique structure.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be learning:
Maths - We will be continuing our learning of multiplication and division focusing primarily on the 3, 4 and 8 times tables.
Writing - Next week we are going to write our own Kenning poems based on a river.
Reading - Next week we will be completing some reading assessments to assess how the children are finding comprehension questions.
Geography - We are looking specifically at the Alps next week.
Science - Our focus will be on learning the process of how fossils are formed.
