Year 4 have had an exciting few weeks taking part in lots of different activities across the curriculum. In Maths, the children have been exploring addition and subtraction. In the next coming weeks, they will be covering multiplication and division. Through their Flipgrids, the children revealed their newfound knowledge of the Roman impact on Britain, a journey of discovery that they had thoroughly enjoyed. The children brushed up on their online safety knowledge by participating in a Be Internet Legends assembly. In Art, the children are enjoying exploring the poem 'The Jabberwocky' by Lewis Caroll.
Maths - We will be continuing with our work on addition and subtraction.
Writing - We will be working towards writing a newspaper arcticle on the discovery the ruins of a Roman God.
Reading - In Reading we will be focusing on inference questions. The children will be looking at the text they have read and will infer thoughts and feelings of the characters.
History - We will be continuing our Romans topic.
Science - In science we will be continuing our Electricity topic
