It's been a busy and incredibly exciting couple of weeks in Reception! Last week was definitely a highlight of the school year for everyone as we embarked on an unforgettable adventure.

We read the wonderful story 'Emma Jane's Aeroplane,' which inspired us to take our very own pretend flight to Spain! The children enthusiastically queued at the airport, checked in their luggage, and showed their passports. Everyone listened carefully to the safety talk, ensuring we had a quick and wonderfully smooth flight. Upon our "arrival" in Spain, we had the best time splashing in pools and digging in the sand, just like we were on a real holiday! The children's imaginations soared, making it a truly vibrant and memorable experience for all.

This week, our thoughts have turned to our big move to Year 1! We were all very excited to find out who our new teachers are going to be, and we loved visiting our new classes. We're feeling incredibly grown up and are definitely ready for a new adventure.
