Year 1 have had a very exciting week this week! We loved finding out about the Great Fire of London in our workshop. Everyone dressed up and had a role to play. We found out lots of interesting facts and experienced what live was like in London in 1066.  We used all that we learnt to write a newspaper report about the Great Fire of London. In DT have been using our knowledge of axles to create our own wacky racer. In maths we have been exploring number up to 40. We have been looking at the place value of the digit (tens and ones) to make and order numbers.  We really enjoyed World Book Day! It was fantastic seeing the children in all their fabulous costumes and enjoying reading and exploring books.
