Easter Bonnet

On the last day of term, Thursday 28th March, we will be holidng our annual Easter Bonnet Parade for the Molesey Site children.  It's time to get imaginative and show off your Easter creations.  These must only be brought into school on the day, please don't send them in any earlier.

Comic Relief

Comic Relief is next Friday (15th March).  Whilst we are not doing asking for donations or having a mufti day, children are invited to wear something to support this cause should they wish to.  For example: a red nose, a red hair accessory, red socks etc.  Please note, children should still wear normal school uniform alongside their accessory.

Top of the Form

A huge well done to our 'Top of the Form' team who competed against Barrow Hedges. Despite a defeat, we were still incredibly impressed with their dedication to the quiz. They spent numerous lunchtimes practising and even brushed up on quiz questions at home.

Thank you for trying your best and representing Cheam Park Farm so well!

Veg Power - Eat Them To Defeat Them!

Veg Power "Eat Them To Defeat Them" is continuing to be very popular with more and more children receiving stickers for trying different vegetables at lunchtime.

The campaign focuses on: Broccoli, Butternut Squash, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Courgettes, Peas, Peppers, Sweet Corn Tomatoes and Cucumber (but remember, children seen eating any vegetables at lunchtimes can be rewarded).

There are still three weeks left to join in the fun! Click here to see this half term’s menu showing all the delicious ways vegetables will be on offer!

Looking after our own and our children's mental health and well being

As mental health week is approaching it is important that we start and continue to be mindful of the things that may trigger us and our children. Maintaining good mental health is a key part of feeling happy with life, being connected to other people and having a sense of meaning. It enables us to manage day to day stresses and work productively within society. Also, having resilience allows us to cope with challenges by using our inner strength and support networks by investing time and energy in our relationships with family and friends.

With that said it is important to have a toolkit at hand for whenever a situation arises.

Finally, we also award a 'Rights Respecting' certificate to one child per class for demonstrating behaviour and attitudes that reflect our Rights Respecting approach  in school.
