This week we have been learning about:
Maths - we have been looking at adding numbers up to 100 with renaming using the column addition method.
Writing - we have been learning about conjunctions and question sentences.
Science - we have been learning about the different animals you might find in a woodland habitat.
History - we have been to the Victorian School at Holly Lodge where we learned all about what it was like to go to school over 100 years ago!
Next week's learning:
Maths - we will be looking at subtracting a one digit number from a two digit number and starting to use the column subtraction method.Â
Writing - we will be planning, writing and then editing a letter from Duncan in the book, "The Day the Crayons Quit"..
Science - we will be looking at food chains and learning about producers, prey and predators.
History - we will be finishing our topic and recapping all the knowledge we have learnt about schools in the last 100 years before answering the question, "Would I prefer to go to school now or 100 years ago?"
