This week we have been learning about:
Maths - we have been looking at number bonds and number patterns up to 100.
Writing - we have been learning about proper nouns before learning and retelling the story, ‘Tiddalick’.
Science - we have been learning about different kinds of habitats you get across the world.
History - we have been thinking about what school is like now and comparing it to what it was like 50 and 100 years ago.
Art - we have been learning about different ways we can draw and make marks using a pencil.
Next week's learning:
Maths - we will be looking at adding two digit numbers up to 100.
Writing - we will be planning, writing and then editing a riddle about Tiddalick the Frog.
Science - we will be focusing on woodland habitats in the UK and learning about the different plants and animals that live there.
History - we will be continuing to focus on how schools have changed in the last 100 years.
Art - we are going to use what we learnt about pencil techniques last week to practice drawing natural objects.
