This half term our theme is 'All about me' as we settle into Nursery. 

Over the past 2 weeks we have been reading the books 'I'm starting Nursery' and 'Spot goes to school'.

The Nursery children have had a busy first few weeks, including having home visits from the teachers and stay and plays in the Nursery with their grown ups where they got to meet some of their new classmates. The children are now in for the full session and have started to settle in really well. 

Each day they continue to try hard to locate their own pegs to hang their belongings on them and search to find their own names for self-registration at the beginning of the session. They have been working hard to learn the routines of Nursery and are doing a great job!

They have been singing lots of number songs, such as 5 little ducks, 5 speckled frogs and 5 little men in a flying saucer. The children have really enjoyed joining in with singing the words, learning actions and using props and puppets as they sing along.
