What a great first few weeks of the autumn term!
In English the children have loved the story of the 'Teddy Bear's Picnic'. They have written invitations, shopping lists and instructions about how to make a jam sandwich. A fantastic time was had by all at our own Teddy Bear's Picnic!
In maths the children have been busy exploring number to 10. They have been counting and representing numbers in different ways: in numerals, in words, with objects and on tens frames.
In science we have been looking at weather in the different seasons.
In history we have been thinking about how special events are remembered. It has been great to hear the children talk about their memories from the photographs they brought in.
In art we have been taking inspiration from the artist Molly Haslund. We created a collaborative piece of artwork by working together.
