Year 3 have been working extremely hard in the assessments we have done this half term. We all had a great time this week on our trip to the Natural History Museum. The children loved exploring the Dinosaur fossils and skeletons, the Volcanoes and Earthquakes area and also we had a quick peak into the Creepy Crawley area too!
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be learning:
Maths - We will be looking to be able to divide a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number without renaming and then moving onto multiplying a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number with renaming.
Writing - Next week we are going to write our persuasive letter to Rishi Sunak about how concerning the issue of Plastic Pollution is with some suggestions of what changes need to be made.
Reading - Children will be consolidating their learning by answering a range of comprehension questions based on a text.
Geography - Next week we will be learning about this half term's Amazing Person who is 'Charles Darwin'.
Science - Our final lesson focus will be looking at soil, looking at the 3 different layers of soil.
