It is with great sadness that we must announce that the PTFA Exec Team, Gemma and Serena have made the decision to step down, this will take effect at the end of this academic year, July 2023.  

This is not a decision they have taken lightly, but due to changes personally and their ongoing work commitments this means they will be unable to fulfil the role from September, academic year 2023/2024. 

They are now on the lookout for the next 'Exec Team' who would like to step in and run the PTFA.  They will welcome you with open arms and offer support moving forward.  Please contact either Gemma or Serena via brookfieldacademyptfa@gmail.com if you would be interested. 

We would like to take this opportunity now to say a BIG THANK YOU to Gemma, Serena and their team for an amazing couple of years of fundraising.  Not only have all the events been such fun for the whole school community, they have also raised huge sums of money.  This money has benefited all of the children and the school as a whole.

Finally, the current PTFA still have a busy few months ahead, so it’s not over yet.  They look forward to raising lots more money with the various events, we are sure they will go out with a bang!

We are busy working behind the scenes on the Brookfield Summer Fair which is on Saturday 1st July.  We are delighted to have been approached by James Bailey Estate Agents who will sponsor our event in return for having an estate agents board your property for approximately 3 - 4 weeks advertising the fair.

For every board that goes up the estate agent  will donate a sponsorship fee to the school, and this in turn will also raise awareness of our fair and encourage people from the wider community  to attend!

Boards are delivered approximately 3 weeks before the event and collected 1 week after.  We are limited to 40 and would love as many of these to be utilised as possible.

For everyone that takes a board a will be given a strip of raffle tickets for our main raffle as a thank you gift and we have some fabulous prizes lined up!

PTFA Exec Team

We are excited to announce that we are running a copper pot challenge for each class to join in with.  This will run from Tuesday 2nd May until Friday 30th June.

The aim of the game is simple - all children are invited to bring in any loose 1p, 2p & 5p coins and put them in the copper pot jars that will be kept in their classrooms.  Children can bring in as many or as fewer coins as you wish and there is no pressure to participate at all if you choose not too.

There will be a prize for the class that raises the most amount of money, and all children will receive a bag of sweets from the PTFA for participation.

We look forward to counting the pennies soon!
