Year 6 End of Term Celebrations

Our Year 6s brought the Jungle to Life with an Absolutely Fantastic Production of 'The Jungle Book'!

What a spectacular treat we enjoyed last week as our incredible Year 6 pupils presented their end-of-year production of Disney's beloved classic, The Jungle Book! From the moment Mowgli first appeared among the wolves, the performance was absolutely fantastic and truly demonstrated all their hard work and dedication.

The audience was transported deep into the heart of the jungle, captivated by the vibrant costumes, clever set design, and, most importantly, the immense talent on display. The fantastic singing resonated throughout the hall, with every solo and ensemble number delivered with energy, emotion, and impressive harmony. 

The level of professionalism is a testament to the countless hours of rehearsals, the unwavering commitment of the children, and the incredible guidance from the staff.

A massive congratulations to every single member of the Year 6 cast for an extraordinary achievement. Your passion, talent, and teamwork shone brightly, and you gave us all a show to remember. 

Year 6 Dances the Night Away at Their "Dress to Impress" Leavers' Disco!

What a fabulous send-off for our wonderful Year 6 pupils last Thursday night at their much-anticipated Leavers' Disco! With the theme "Dress to Impress," the children certainly rose to the occasion, arriving in a dazzling array of outfits that truly sparkled. 

The evening was filled with laughter, energy, and some truly memorable moments. Everyone had a great time capturing memories in the photo booth, complete with fun props that brought out lots of smiles and silly poses. These pictures will no doubt be treasured keepsakes of their final days with us.

Of course, no disco is complete without music and movement, and our Year 6s certainly delivered! The dance floor was alive with activity, showcasing an incredible variety of dance moves. From group routines to individual flair, it was clear that everyone was letting loose and enjoying themselves. It was brilliant to see them celebrating their friendships and their achievements on the dance floor.

A huge thank you to the PTFA and all the staff who helped organise such a successful and enjoyable event. 

A Moving Farewell: Year 6 Leavers' Assembly

Last Friday, we gathered together for the highly anticipated Year 6 Leavers' Assembly, a poignant and memorable occasion that truly marked the end of an era for our graduating pupils. As the assembly drew to a close, it was clear that there was not a dry eye in the hall, a testament to the deep bonds formed and the emotional journey shared.

The assembly was a beautiful retrospective, looking back at the countless memories created over their years at our school. Laughter mixed with nostalgic sighs as parents, teachers, and pupils alike reminisced about the growth, friendships, and learning that have shaped these incredible young individuals.

A significant part of the assembly was the much-anticipated award ceremony. Each award was met with enthusiastic applause, acknowledging the diverse strengths and unique contributions of every child in the Year 6 cohort. It was a proud moment for all, highlighting the fantastic achievements of our pupils.

The Leavers' Assembly was a truly fitting farewell, a chance to celebrate their journey, acknowledge their achievements, and bid them a heartfelt goodbye. It was a perfect way for our Year 6 pupils to celebrate their journey through primary school before they embark on their new adventures in secondary school. 

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our Year 6 leavers and wish them all the very best as they embark on their exciting new adventures in secondary school. They will be greatly missed, but their legacy at our school will undoubtedly live on.
