Taking any CTS course helps to fulfill the requirements for an Alberta High School Diploma. Upon successful completion of Foods 1030, you earn one Career and Technology (CTS) credit towards your high school diploma.
This course has several videos to help you with food safety, food techniques, and many recipes. Use these videos to explore and understand the course topics more deeply. Watching the videos is important since much of the content is found in the videos. Using the Video Guiding Questions will help you to prepare for the course quiz.
An individual timeline for Cooking Lab submissions is available from your teacher.
If you are interested in credits for projects in Foods, contact your teacher. Projects can be done the same time as any Foods course.
