Grading

Thousand Oaks High School uses Q as its official grading system. While Canvas will continue to be used by teachers to post assignments, collect submissions, and share class resources, it is important to note that the grades displayed in Canvas are not considered official. 

There may be times when the grades in Canvas and Q do not match due to delays or syncing issues. 

For the most accurate and up-to-date grades, students and parents should always refer to Q.

Every 6 weeks grades are reported on Q

Quarter 1 progress - Teachers are required to post grades of D+ and below; may post other grades.

Quarter 1 - Teachers are required to post all grades.

Quarter 2 progress - Teachers are required to post grades of D+ and below; may post other grades.

Quarter 2/Semester 1 - Teachers are required to post all grades.  End of Semester 1.

Quarter 3 progress - Teachers are required to post grades of D+ and below; may post other grades.

Quarter 3 - Teachers are required to post all grades.

Quarter 4 progress - Teachers are required to post grades of D+ and below; may post other grades.

Quarter 4/Semester 2 - Teachers are required to post all grades.  End of Semester 2.
