Credit Recovery
Credit breakdown is as follows**:
After successful completion of 9th grade: 60 credits
After successful completion of 10th grade: 120 credits
After successful completion of 11th grade: 180 credits
After successful completion of 12th grade and all credits plus passing of Algebra 1 (or equivalent): 230 credits
** Having more than these minimum credits at the end of the grade levels is acceptable, as long as a student isn't missing a specific core requirement.
Students who have failed a required class, will need to make it up and earn a passing grade of at least a D- to graduate.
There are a variety of credit recovery options available to students at TOHS.
Students who failed an elective are not required to make up the same course. They will need to recover the credits lost by taking an additional elective course.
