As of May 1, 2020: All staff and students in LISD now have access to the premium version of TextHelp’s Read&Write toolbar. The toolbar provides students required accommodations such as speech-to-text, text-speech, word prediction and translation features as well as additional customization tools (e.g., vocabulary supports, picture dictionaries, research tools) that will benefit students with and without disabilities. To learn more about the Read&Write toolbar, check out our LISD Knowledge Base. The special education team leads, resource/inclusion teachers, and dyslexia specialists have been trained on the toolbar.
