General Campus-Clinic Partnership Information
Please call the clinic to notify the nurse of a visit for a student or for your own needs.
Please utilize the Teacher 1 Pager (see below).
No student visits during the 1st- 20 minutes or last- 20 minutes of the school day unless there is an emergency.
Only 1 student per teacher at a time.
Please save Asthma, Allergy, Seizure, and other health notifications about students and print them for your Sub Binders and for Field Trips.
If you feel a student is trying to get out of work but you wish to still call the clinic, call and plan to send them the last 10 minutes of class, after your lecture.
The clinic can send students home for Fever, Vomiting, and/or Diarrhea.
If you are out of clinic passes or bandage bags, you may stop by the clinic or email the clinic nurse and they will be placed in your mailbox as soon as possible.
Field Trips (During School Hours)
Please notify the clinic in a separate email (not all campus) with the following information 2 weeks in advance if at all possible.
Trip Details
Student Roster (sharing a Google Sheet is preferred).
Number of Buses
The clinic will review the list and reply with student medical needs, if any.
Teachers are provided with a field trip first aid bag, at minimum.
Teachers may have to visit the clinic for training and documents.
Teachers provided emergency meds will need to be on the bus with the student.

Level 2 Diabetic Training
If you've received an email about Level 2 Diabetic Training because you have a student in your class, please follow these steps to train:

Under Part II Independently, Requirements you'll see Level 2 Diabetic training. These are Youtube videos. Watch them please.
You'll reply to this email once completed that you've completed Level 2.
Level 3 Diabetic Training
This is for teachers/admin who will have a Field Trip/Off-Campus and will be working with a diabetic student. If you know you'll have trips during the year and you've been notified that you have a diabetic student, it is recommended you complete the online training in advance. You'll follow up with the nurse prior to any trips.
