Part I: Whole Group: 35 minutes
The campus RN or Health Educator will facilitate the following at an all staff meeting before the first day of school:
Present the All Staff BOY Health Training video (16:18) updated 7/2024
Present the Opioid Education video (2:25)
Present the Day in the Life of an LISD School Nurse video (4:15)
Facilitate Clinic 101 info with Q&A (10)
Share the All Staff BoY Health Attestation for all staff who attended the training to sign
If a nurse is not in attendance for the above whole group trainings they will need to:

Part II: Independently: 13 minutes
All campus staff will be enrolled in the Epinephrine & Level 1 Diabetes Course in SafeSchools that is due by August 31, 2024. These videos were previously part of the training above, but are now housed in SafeSchools for convenience. Each staff member needs to complete the course independently.
WHO: Any campus staff member who will supervise or have responsibility for a student with diabetes at any time during the day
REQUIREMENTS:
In addition to the Level 1 diabetes videos viewed in SafeSchools, watch all Level 2 diabetes videos - Blood Glucose Monitoring Nutrition and Physical Activity
