In an effort to protect students with food allergies, discourage unwanted "class pets," and limit distractions, eating in the classroom is not permitted. Any food items not secured in bookbags will be removed from student work areas and secured until the end of class. Exceptions may be made by the instructor when planned celebrations include snacks.
Drinks with lids are permissible in class unless an activity, such as evidence packaging or use of equipment, necessitates that all drinks be stored away from work areas. Drinks are never allowed in mock crimes scenes. Students may only refill water bottles during class by using one of their 2 approved eHallPasses.
Students have Lunch A this year, which begins at 10:40am. Unless another teacher has written an eHallPass for a student, every student is expected to report promptly to the cafeteria at the end of 2nd or 6th Block and to eat lunch in the cafeteria. There are restrooms in the cafeteria for student use. Students may not use the instructor's fridge or microwave.
