If students forget clothes and/or shoes, they will trade their cellphone or Chromebook as collateral to borrow some from our department. They get them back at the end of class when the items are returned.

BROOM SQUAD!
One student from each class writes the PE Word of the Day, Health Concept of the Day, and GOTCHA on the board each day.

When students are done setting up their court, they will go help the other groups. Students are held responsible and given "jobs" to make class smoother, and to teach accountability.

Volleyball Round Robin Tournament. After each game, students high five the other team and one (team selected) student, is responsible for going to the board to see what court their next match is on.
Having a good handshake, smile, and making eye contact while introducing yourself to others is a great life skill!
By telling their opponents "you're awesome" and high fiving, students are learning good sportsmanship.
