They must have a set of dress out clothes (cannot wear school clothes in physical education class), socks, a pair of tennis shoes, 3 ring notebook with loose leaf paper along with a pen and a charged chromebook.

Students who do not dress out will receive: 5 points off their 6 weeks grade, walk the entire block in street clothes, write PE definitions for homework (PE textbook), and a phone call to guardian.

Students who do not participate, disrupt class along with not following teacher instructions, will be referred to administration and a phone call to guardian.

Students will also take fitness tests, skills tests, written tests, and a final exam.

The classroom environment will be safe, positive, challenging, and high time-on-task. We have state of the art facilities and plenty of space/equipment so that all students will have the opportunity to maximize their learning.

Students are NOT ALLOWED to bring the following to the gym: cell phone, ear buds, hats, food, drink, candy, gum, money, jewelry, breakfast or lunch, musical instruments, and school projects. Cell phones and ear buds will be confiscated immediately by the teacher and sent to the office. Other item(s) will be confiscated by the teacher or thrown away by the student (ex. gum, food, drink) and the guardian called at the end of class. Students (NOT THE SCHOOL) are responsible for any lost/stolen personal belongings. Students are required to use an assigned locker. They are not allowed to share a locker, give out their combination/key, or set their lock so that it will open for anyone/everyone. Students are not allowed to touch other students/others belongings, horse play, or litter. Students (WILL BE RESPONSIBLE) for any vandalism to school property (equipment, gym, locker, locker room, etc.). Students will not be given hall passes. Any student who is tardy will have to run 10 laps around the gym (immediately upon arrival) and phone call to guardian. Restroom and water breaks should be taken care of before and/or after class. Students are not allowed to use the restroom during class time (so they can be supervised). Also, it is recommended that students have personal hygiene items such as: deodorant stored in their locker (on an as need individual basis). Students are encouraged to wash their hands at the beginning and end of class.

Thank you to the student for participating in this course as well as the guardian or allowing us the opportunity of time to educate your young adult for life-long success.
