In this course you are going to learn all the areas of this sport, we will pair you with people of your level. Here we are only going to learn the basics, because there are a lot of things and we don’t have time.
Firstly, you will learn how to pass the ball. It looks pretty easy from the TV or watching other people doing it, but it requires technique and skill. You need to throw it in a specific way to give the ball the effect, and that makes it easier to catch for the other person. Also how to positionate.
If you are very fast, you will be assigned the position of catcher. It consists basically of catching the ball in the air and dribbling the defense to not be tackled.
If you have a very powerful kick, we will show you how to be a better kicker. These players kick the ball into the goal to score extra points after touchdowns, we will work the leg strength to kick it stronger.
The last course is the one of defending, if you are a strong person to tackle other people better, you may be interested in being a defender. Your mission is to make it more difficult for the attackers to score touchdowns or make interceptions, it looks easy, but you need to learn all the defensive tactics and guess the attackers strategy to anticipate and ruin their play.
1. Combine several types of training: In our gym we have a lot of material with which we can vary our workouts: kettlebells, medicine balls, bosus, elastic bands, dumbbells, bars, pulleys, guided machines ...
2. If you don't want to train in the gym, go to the park: Calisthenics has become very fashionable lately among those who prefer to train outdoors in the different city parks.
3. Use of some of the training apps that we have: We tested the Freeletics application a while ago, both in its Bodyweight version, in which you work only with your body weight, and in its Gym version, for which you will need some material.
