Year 3

This term, we have learned about musical instruments and how to say which instruments they play. They also linked their French learning to their inquiry topic by learning new vocabulary about volcanoes. 

Year 4

Year 4 have been talking about themselves and learned the masculine and feminine forms of adjectives in the context of nationalities. 

Year 5

Year 5 have been learning about seasons and revised their knowledge of the weather through songs and dialogues. 

Year 6

Finally, year 6 have been continuing their correspondence with pupils from our partner school in Pia, France. They have also learned how to use strategies to deepen their understanding of inquiry based learning through reading activities about WWII. They also have learned to describe their school timetables and talk about the subjects they study at school, as well as their likes and dislikes. Their work culminated in an impressive piece of writing in which they displayed current and previously acquired knowledge.
