This term Reception children have explored different animal’s habitats every week. We explored jungle animals, farm animals, under the sea animals, grassland animals and arctic animals. We had a range of writing, creative and construction activities available for the children to access. We played guessing which had some descriptive language and we had to guess which animals they were.

Using a variety of materials the children have created and represented an array of animals from these habitats.

As we continue to develop the children fine motor skills and creativity ready for writing all of the children were able to make their own paper plate animals and also threaded a unique spiderweb!
