This term we increased our numbers for children to be able to attend clubs as they were so popular.
At KS1 Superhero Club created different items linked with a range of well known Superheroes, Chess Club learnt the rules and included tactics in their games, as well as Football and Benchball club learning the skills and rules needed to play the games effectively.
At KS2 Hama Beads and Creative clubs were a huge success with the children able to express and develop their own creativity and the children explored different experiments in Science club. They enjoyed developing their language skills in Spanish and French and using their cooking skills to make a range of foods from around the world in the Cooking Club. Football and Tag Rugby helped develop the children’s kicking, throwing and catching skills, as well as introduce tactics and work together as a team.
Sporting Events
To celebrate International Women’s Day, we offered the girls at KS2 a chance to get involved with a football session. Over 80 girls took part and enjoyed playing on the new field, learning new skills and making new friends. The newly trained Sport Leaders helped to run this event.
