As we continue to focus on the importance of wellbeing, the children have been reminded that their minds are as important as their bodies. We are focusing on a positive mindset this year to encourage the children to think of the things they can do and are good at.
On World Mental Health day we wrote, drew or created slides to remind ourselves of who ‘I am’, what ‘I have’ and what ‘I can’ do. Following these simple steps will ensure the children approach everything they do with positivity, or at least have more positive questions to help them challenge themselves.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank those parents who filled in our questionnaire. We received lots of positive feedback and will be looking into the areas you suggested we needed to improve. Your child’s wellbeing is of paramount importance at DPA and we are always enhancing the things we do to ensure all our children are happy.
