This has been another busy and productive module for our talented linguists at DPA.
Year 3 have carried on building their vocabulary knowledge with their new unit of work and have learned numbers, colours and the names of animals.
Year 4 have used role plays to practise buying ice cream and have been incredible risk takers by performing in front of their classmates.
Year 5 have been able to deepen their understanding of texts focusing on the topic of pets and have started learning about the weather. They have also been learning and practising their French Nativity play and Christmas songs, which they performed in front of their peers and parents.
Year 6 students have started learning about school subjects and expressing which subjects they enjoy or not, whilst giving reasons for their opinions. All year groups also have been developing their phonics and grammatical knowledge.
Congratulations to our first round of French ambassadors appointees in year 5 and 6, who will act as our representatives and who will be able to discuss our learning and achievements, as well as our challenges and goals. We will appoint our year 3 and 4 ambassadors very soon!
I am also delighted to announce that our French Club returns in module 3 with an exciting La Bonne Paie competition, French art and a French cooking session!
