Langley Park Legends

This week we share with you the achievements of two Langley Legends.

Firstly we are delighted to share news that last Saturday Hanuram, in Melrose Class, progressed to his Blue Belt in karate.

This is an excellent achievement and is one of six belts that can be awarded for the sport. The blue belt is said to represent the sky and the light it provides to all growing things and is awarded to karate students at the relevant stage of their knowledge of moves and technical skill.

Well done Hanuram! Please do share any future karate successes with us, as we are all extremely proud of your achievements.

Also a Langley Legend for her karate achievements is Nicole, in Ambrosia Class, who progressed to her yellow belt on Saturday too.

This is an excellent achievement also and is another of the six belts that can be awarded for the sport.

The yellow belt is said to represent the first rays of sunlight that give life to a new seedling and is awarded to karate students who are progressing in initial techniques and the basic principles of the sport.

Well done Nicole, this is an amazing achievement and we look forward to hearing more about your successes in karate also!
