What is the relationship between humans and the natural world? Who shapes environmental policies and how effective are these policies at addressing environmental issues? This course examines theories for conceptualizing and applying environmental politics, investigates actors (those who have power), and explores themes and discourse in environmental politics.
This course is an honors option, which runs concurrently with the PS 297 non-honors section. Honors students are expected to complete a different final project using peer-reviewed political science/environmental politics materials.
PS 297 has been identified as sustainability-focused. Click here to learn more about LCC's core value of sustainability.
