1. System Configuration
The system configuration related to Student GWS is as follows.
Login to Student GWS is performed via the Kyoto University Integrated Authentication System (Multi-Factor Authentication).
Please use your ECS-ID (Student Account) and password.
Email services (Gmail) are not provided in Student GWS. For Kyoto University Mail for Students (KUMOI), please continue to use Microsoft 365.
Some services, such as Google Drive, allow integration between Faculty/Staff GWS and Student GWS. Please refer to the List of Use Cases for specific ways to utilize these integrations.
Student GWS can be accessed via web browsers or dedicated apps on PCs and mobile devices.
*Please refer to the "Service-specific Google Workspace requirements" for supported OS and browser environments.

1. Access the Common Portal for All Students via a web browser and click “Access” to the right of "Google Workspace for Students".

2. Users can access each service by clicking the service from the “Google Workspace for Students” dashboard.
3. If a pop-up titled "Sign in to Chrome in a new profile?" appears as shown on the left when accessing the screen in step 2, select "No thanks".
4. To log out, click the icon in the upper right corner of the screen and click "Sign out".
