PREPARATION COURSE 2022

Ko te whāinga matua o tēnei hōtaka kia mātau, kia mārama, kia mōhio anō ai ngā Uri ki ngā pukenga me ngā ture whakahaere o Te Whare Angitu.

Ko ōna aronga ko te whakamau i ngā Uri ki ngā taputapu, ki ngā rauemi e tika ana mō te kuhu ki roto i ngā hōtaka katoa.

Ka mutu, ka tutaki haere ki ngā Kaiako me ngā Kaiawhina katoa o Te Whare Angitu.


*Te Hotaka Whakarite is a compulsory preparation course for all Uri who are accepted into a 2023 NCEA Level 1 course

  • To minimise barriers for Uri to engage in Te Whare Angitu Programmes

WEEKLY ONLINE CLASSES

Wednesdays 10am - 11am // Fridays 10am - 11am


FIRST HUITOPA: Wednesday 26th October, 2022

NGĀ WHAKARITENGA MAHI

  • Compulsory course for entry into any Level 1 NCEA Te Whare Angitu Course

  • 5 week duration

  • Fee $50 per student

  • Understand the Te Whare Angitu Online Learning Environment

  • Collaborate with students from other Kura ā Iwi schools

  • Develop your digital learning skills

  • Get set up for success with all the tools you'll need to complete any Te Whare Angitu Course

NGĀ PAEARU WHAKAURU

  • Uri should have sufficient literacy and numeracy to engage with online platforms

  • Uri should be provided with a suitable device (e.g. chromebook) to be able to access the online learning components of the course

  • Uri must have support from their Kura to engage in the course

  • Uri should be self-motivated and able to be independent learners

  1. This course will prepare our Uri for success in other NCEA level programmes.

  2. This course will help develop online learning capabilities for future focused opportunities.

  3. Uri will become Angitu leaders within their kura, to support others on their online learning journey.
