Aʻo Aku Aʻo Mai: Presentations
Presentations in this strand are for those not familiar, experienced or comfortable with teaching culture as educators here in Hawai'i, yet. This strand is for the ones who wonder: "How can I begin that process of ho’oma’a / hoʻopili (becoming comfortable and connected to) HCBE in my role as an educator, administrator, counselor, social service provider?" This strand hopes to convey the humble and responsible exchange of learning and knowing. Acknowledging that we all are on a journey to gather and freely share 'ike (knowledge and understanding) and if we do this, we ensure continuity of our cultural knowing for generations to come.
Important Notes:
Presentations are listed in the order of sessions in which they will commence on Conference Day, Feb. 12, 2021.
