DODGEBALL WILL BE OUR CLOSING ACTIVITY ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 23 FROM 1:20 p.m. to 2:40 p.m.

The Homecoming Dodgeball Tournament is one of the biggest class competitions of the week, and each grade will compete for a possible 14 class points, bragging rights, and gift card prizes. Each class will field one team made up of 6 players - 3 girls and 3 boys - to represent their grade. Signing up does not guarantee a spot, as players will be selected to ensure balance and commitment. If you’re ready to represent your class , sign up and bring the energy!

Gameplay

FIRST ROUND - Teams will face off in a best of three match to see who advances. Rounds will have a time limit, and if the limit is reached, then the team with the most players left win that round. Winning teams receives 4 points and advance to the championship.

 First matchup - FRESHMEN VS. SENIORS

Second matchup - SOPHOMORES VS. JUNIORS

CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND - Advancing teams will face off to see who wins. Rounds will have a time limit, and if the limit is reached, then the team with the most players left win that round. Winning team receives 10 additional points!

Hits below shoulders = OUT

  • Either eliminates the thrower to behind the opposite teams outer line
    OR

  • Brings back one teammate when thrown to opposite sifde (decide & lock)
    
    

• No blocking with hands (balls only)

• No crossing center line
