Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a unique and contemplative approach to religious education, rooted in the principles of Montessori pedagogy. It offers a rich spiritual formation experience for children, inviting them to encounter and deepen their relationship with God through hands-on, sensorial activities. CGS sessions take place in a specially prepared "atrium," where children engage with materials that represent key elements of the Christian faith, such as parables, liturgical objects, and scripture passages.
